Posing

These are the funniest kids ever. They wanted me to keep taking pictures of them, and they did the same pose everytime. They just thought it was hilarious.

Coleton Brushing his teeth

I just had to post these. This is the face that Coleton makes everytime he brushes his teeth. I dont know if he watches my face while I brush his teeth, and then he thinks he has to do the same. But I thought it was cute.

Coleton, Coleton, Coleton!!!

Just another real sleepy boy.
This was this morning. He went to bed late last night, and got up early, and as you can see he has some real artistic abilities. He and the markers had a fight this morning.

So here he is copying his sister. They are watching TV. I thought it was cute!!

That is all I really have to say about my little boy. He wants to be just like his sister. Down to the toys he plays with. He loves playing with Barbie dolls. He really loves there hair. But he is a sweet boy. He has come a long way, and is a happier little guy. I was just talking to my mom the other day. that he is still such a baby he is not even 2 yet. I as well as other people think he is allot older, and treat him that way, but he is still a baby.

Good things to eat!!!

So I have been on this diet, and some of my favorite past time treats have really been a big craving. So I thought I would share them. They may seem weird, but unless you try them you cant dis them right????

Mac and Cheese with salsa: This is really very yummy. If you are sick of regular mac and cheese, or even with ketup you should try this it is good.

Rocky Road Ice Cream: Wheeties, and Milk. Yeah it may not sound that good either, but if you like chocolate you will love it. It is on of my favorites.

Italian Bread Pizza: I make it the perfect way. Walmart Italian Bread (very similar to French Bread, but adds a little different taste), Prego Home style Pizza sauce, Freshly grated Tillomook cheese (That may be the Oregon in me, but that is the best cheese out there).

Bagels: This has to be done just right. Any type of bagel, Cream Cheese(Preferably Philadelphia), And again Tillomook Cheese slices. Put in the microwave for 45 seconds, and it is so yummy!!

If I think of some more I will share them. They may not sound good, but you should try them. They are good.

Back to being a single mom!!!

Well Scott is back to school. He started his Chemistry class on Saturday, and was back at work at 7am this morning, and wont be home till around 10pm. Man I feel so bad for him. I think after this year I am going to more grateful for him than I am right now.

So this week starts out with the kids getting sick AGAIN, this time not only do they have a cold, but Pink Eye. Oh I hate this illness. I used to get it alot when i was young. So of course we have to pass on our BEST qualities to our children. Ashlynn was having Terrible Diarrhea this morning. So she is in a diaper today, which i hate to do, but she was having a terrible time getting to the toilet. I don't know about you, but when i am sick i really wish sometimes that i did not have to get up and go to the restroom.

We had some exciting things this weekend. A new addition to the Wilkins family. I know I know. No not me. Scott's sister had a baby boy this weekend, His name is Mathew. He is super adorable, and really makes me want another baby. I know i say that all the time, but it's true. The other exciting thing on a different note is that my niece Elle was in the hospital for 3 days cause she was so severally constipated that they gave her 4 enemas, and nothing happened. So they had to put her on a feeding tube, cause she refused to eat, and they put her on an IV because she was very dehydrated. But all is well she is home now, and a much happier 2 year old. They would not release her from the hospital until she was pooping clear liquid, and she eventually did after the 5th enema. So for those of you that thought being constipated wont hurt much other than the obvious. You are WRONG! It can be a very serious thing.

Oh I forgot to mention. Now that all i do is sit at home, and do nothing. I have fallen in love with Discovery Health Channel. Well I have always loved this channel, but I watch Mystery Diagnosis. I love it. It is crazy how stupid some doctors can be. All that schooling they go through to diagnose patients and they cant even do it. Oh well what do you do.

Well I have been hearing alot about random deaths lately. Living with a husband and children that are invincible. Leaves me with nothing to worry about. Okay just kidding I really stress alot about things now. We had a friend of my parents whose husband just died. He was in his late 30's, and woke up with some stomach pain. He went to work thinking it would get better, and he called his wife later, and told her that he was going to the ER. When she showed up to meet him there. He coded, and they were never able to bring him back. They did an autopsy, and he had a bleed in his abdomen. So random and now a widow, and he four children between the ages of 2-11 are without a father and a husband. There has been some other deaths lately that you just have to think to yourself the Lord has another plan for them. Sad Sad Sad that is all i have to say. We as a Cuthbertson family have FHE ever 2nd Sunday of the month. My sister-in-law has been feeling the same as i have, and so she decided to give her lesson on preparedness. And then the BYU channel tonight is doing a special on being prepared for a tragedy. Man i am telling you what. I don't know if i can take anymore. I am praying alot more lately. Just that my kids will wake up, and my husband will get home, and all my family and friends are safe. Or maybe it is truly coming to the last days. I don't know. Just be safe so i don't have to worry about it.

Learning how to dress!!!

The other day Ashlynn finished going potty, and she had been done for a while. And she come walking around the corner, and this is her way of putting on her own pants. It is hard to explain. but she put both legs through the bottom of her capries. So the waist is down around her knees, and the bottom of the pant leg is up around her bottom. Needless to say we had a good laugh. She was not happy about us taking th pictures, but that is the joy that we have as parents.

Christmas at the Wilkins

Scott was trying to take a picture of him holding his gift but right when he took the picture coleton dropped the present.

Man the holidays came and went all ready. It seemed like a whirl wind of activities. It all started with Scott loosing his job right before Christmas, and then he got it back. Then it was time to start looking for Christmas. That was a joke. The kids cant say what they want from santa yet so it was a big guessing game. My brother and his wife came in town for the week. We stayed up playing "River" every night until 2am just to get up with the kids. Then they got into playing Pool, and seeing who could knock all the balls in, in the shortest amount of time. So Scott beat everyones record, so we had to stay up late so that at least one of my brothers could be him(we are not a competitive family at all : ) ). Christmas came and went, and friday before new years. my mom and dad thought it would be fun to take a road trip in their new van, and got to Vegas. Sorry Allison we did not come see you guys it was a crazy weekend, please dont be offended. We carivaned with my brother from oregon, and it was a long 8 hour trip. We were stuck at the Dam for 2.5 hours. We were able to go to our old ward in vegas and see some of our friends. Then it was off to my sisters house pretty much the rest of the weekend. We left early New Years day to come home, and the trip was not nearly as bad. Scott went to work Wednesday just to find out that they were letting him go again, because work was slower now that it ever has been before. Off to a job interveiw on thursday, and a job fair shortly after. We were able to find out how he can become a Pharm Tech without going to school. Hopefully he will get hired on at walgreens so that we dont have to pay for the certificate.

So now we are on the job hunt again, and have nothing at this point as far as any job prospects. Stress!!!! that is all i have to say about that. So I also decided to look in to how much time we have before he applys for the university, and he has to take his PCAT this fall, and apply in the spring. Holy Cow i was suprised to see that it is only a year away. Time to hussle. We have to find time for him to do community service, work at a Pharmacy, and go to school none stop until this time next year, and still provide for the family. As well as study for his PCAT, and get letters together for his applications. Man we have a ton to do. Well i should not say we as much as Scott is going to have a really busy year, and stressful one at that. So that is our life in a nut shell right now. We are so happy to be able to have family close that is so supportive, and that we can look to for help. I am attaching some pictures from our holiday.
