50% off of what? The price they paid years ago or the price they think the items are worth or maybe it is 50% off of your haggling price which would mean that you may as well start haggling at 50% less than you would have and then if they give you another 50% off of that then you could basically have the entire table for free. Have I confused you yet...!!!

Maybe 50% off is like there are only 2 legs on the table or the doll only has one eye. You know like a 1/2 off sale. Check and see if it is 75% off next week.
